The College of Communication (COC) has been preparing for the comeback of students for face-to-face classes this semester to ensure the safety and welfare of all COCians on the campus.

Last January 23, The Communicator reported that the COC is preparing for the limited face-to-face classes this March, they have been restoring the chairs and tables for students, and the classrooms have been newly painted led by the Facility Management Office. "In the facilities and laboratories, on top of the list is the installation of internet service in the COC campus which is now still ongoing. We still need some improvement in our laboratories in terms of equipment, but this is being concentrated now," according to Prof. Iziah Taguinod. In addition, Prof. Taguinod also asserted that the college has put in a newly made teacher's table and requested new electric fans for each classroom. COC is now ready to handle COVID-19 as the college is more equipped with safety and health measures as part of its precaution. โ€œWe have our own quarantine area in the COC compound, in case a student or teacher will show symptoms of COVID-19,โ€ Taguinod assured. Apart from this, COC is one of the colleges that has its own campus-based clinic which is ready to manage medical emergencies. As a result of the aforementioned preparation, COC claimed that they are ready to open its gates for COCians this coming second semester. โ€œWe expect that the "balik-eskwela" of COCians will be successful, most especially in providing students a quality education in a safe environment,โ€ Taguinod remarked.
